L’arrivo di Wang
A Chinese interpreter working in Rome is collected by a mysterious man named Curti and taken to a secret underground facility.
Led into a pitch-black room, she is asked to translate the words of someone called Wang. Unnerved by the darkness, she insists that the lights be turned on, only to discover that Wang is not human at all, but a grey, awkward alien with tentacles.
The interrogation continues. Curti wants to know why Wang has come to Earth and what the object he was carrying is.
Wang insists that he has come in peace, seeking a cultural exchange between species. Curti refuses to believe him, while Gaia senses that he may be telling the truth and tries to mediate.
But Curti brings in a man to torture Wang with electric shocks. Horrified, Gaia flees, triggers the alarm to evacuate the base and decides to set Wang free.
Only then does she discover that Rome has been attacked and half destroyed by countless flying saucers. Wang mocks her, calling her a fool.
A vast fleet of spacecraft is approaching Earth.
