Mirko and Manolo are two young friends from the outskirts of Rome.

Driving late one night, they accidentally run a man over and decide to flee. But what begins as a tragedy soon appears to be an extraordinary stroke of luck: the man they have killed was an informer working against a local criminal clan.

By eliminating him, the two boys have unwittingly earned themselves a chance to enter the organisation.

Their lives are about to change forever.
