Matteo is a young illustrator who, while waiting to publish his graphic novel, works in the family business, the historic Mampresol tailor’s shop, alongside his father Orlando and his grandmother Mina, both proud and highly skilled craftspeople.

Their most important client is the eccentric Serena Ravagnin, who constantly arrives with sketches to be transformed into finished garments, while at the same time filling everyone with anxiety and doubt about whether the clothes are beautiful or original enough.

For the fashion show that is meant to launch her as a designer, everything must be more than perfect.

The family’s delicate balance is disrupted when a new tailoring shop opens on the same street: Deepti’s Taylor, owned by an Indian family, Dev, his sister Rani and their uncle Ramesh.

Mampresol’s wealthiest clients begin deserting them for the newcomers. The final blow comes when Ravagnin, dazzled by their vibrant, exotic fabrics, entrusts them with the designs for her show.

Declaring à la guerre comme à la guerre, Orlando persuades Matteo to infiltrate enemy territory and find a way to eliminate the competition.

But Matteo soon discovers that their rivals are not so different from his own family, and above all that Rani makes his heart beat faster.

Orlando, however, is determined to go all the way. Through deception, he introduces a moth-infested rug into the rival shop, ruining Ravagnin’s clothes just as they are ready for the show.

Can Matteo put an end to the feud between the two families, regain Rani’s trust and finally make his own dreams come true? ​​
